Cadillac to Launch 10 New Vehicles in Three Years

Rumors of Cadillac‘s new flagship model came to light when the ‘LTS’ name was trademarked back in June. But the American automaker may be considering multiple flagship models as it aims to launch 10 new vehicles in the next three years.

"Earlier this year in March, Cadillac fans envisioned the American automaker’s future lineup, and some of it could become a reality. Over the course of the next three years, the company will roll out more models than ever as it starts targeting new markets and competitors. That means a compact crossover and luxury sedan will go along with the new ATS, XTS, Cadillac, and CTS models.

In addition, both the Cadillac and CTS will see major changes, with the CTS growing in size to more closely compete with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class models. The automaker did confirm that it is current working on more new Cadillac models than at any time in its storied history, one of which is the new ELR, Cadillac’s version of the Volt plug-in hybrid.

As for multiple flagships, the next-generation Escalade will cover the SUV market once it gets its makeover in 2014. A BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class competitor will undoubtedly be another flagship model for the automaker.

For now we’ll just have to hang tight for more details, but it’s an exciting time to be a Cadillac fan."
